This lady is so awesome. She lives with her grandma and was studying and had a towel on her head and no shoes but she chased them out of her garden, kicked one up the arse as he climbed a fence, they dropped a camera and laptop, she flagged down a passing driver to help her continue the pursuit, and it turned out he was ex-military, and they finally caught one of them in a park and pinned him as the police arrived. Now she’s going to visit the burglar in prison for the next few months to help with his rehabilitation.

So in summary:

This lady doesn’t just defend her home and loved ones, she will hunt you down, team up with other skilled individuals, get you put away, and then teach you the consequences of your actions until you’re a valuable member of society once more.

Seriously she’s a frigging superhero.

Now overlay that B&W Blurred image

Adobe is going to scrap their hard copies (disks) for their software (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Flash), and have you pay a subscription for the latest software called the Adobe Creative Cloud. $50 per month. Could you really afford such an expense in the long run?

This is really disturbing. Please hear what he has to say, it really is a serious situation for working artists. Pass this along so others may know about the Adobe Creative Cloud and how horrible it is.

Yep… Just went to see how much Flash costs. You know, to just buy the program? Guess what? After spending a while looking, it appears that you CAN’T anymore. You have to pay an outrageous subscription fee. I hate adobe. Is there a petition going around to stop this nonsense? Because I want to sign it.

Today I just signed the petition in the voice against the Adobe Creative Cloud. For those who are not familiar with what the new Creative Cloud can do to you as an artist, I really suggest you watch this video.

For those who have seen, reblogged, faved, here’s the link (as shown in the previous reblog) to sign the petition. Anything can happen, Adobe really needs to know that many artists are not supportive of them controlling not just the software..but the content worked on the Cloud.

I’m not going to fucking SUBSCRIBE to Photoshop. What the fuck do you expect me to tell people, “sorry, can’t do your commission this month. Couldn’t afford the Photoshop rent”?

This is why I use Corel Painter :|b So few people seem to and I don’t understand why. It’s so much cheaper, super versatile, and doesn’t have this bullshit surrounding it :/

When I was in the process of purchasing the latest Creative Suite, we [my dad and me] were having some issues with their website not allowing us to purchase the product without properly explaining why—it turned out that it was simply a credit card/associated account conflict, unimportant and unrelated—BUT when we called customer service to try to figure out the problem and simply order the product over the phone [which is in fact a service they offer], we instead were treated to over an hour of an extremely pigheaded employee refusing to help us or tell us what the problem was and repeatedly insisting/reading variations of a script trying to upsell us into buying Creative Cloud instead, even after we told him at least ten times we weren’t interested, we knew what we wanted to buy, and could he just help us put the purchase through.
In ended up with my dad having to demand to talk to his supervisor multiple times [at least five times in a row, with the guy either ignoring him or flat out refusing to pass on the call], and during that time I managed to figure out why the website was rejecting our order and actually put the order through without any further problems.

I have never before nor since experienced customer service as appalling as that, but if they’re completely switching over to a subscription based service and phasing out their creative suite licenses, then I guess it makes sense why the guy was practically refusing to sell it to us.

Jeez.

I’d just like to point out that 50 Shades of Grey was Twilight fanfic and Twilight was inspired by Muse so when you think about it, it’s kinda because of Muse that 50 Shades was written in the first place oh
